For 35 years, Sunny Pointe has been the place Northville families trust with their little ones. We are not a chain. We are one center on Fry Road, and we know every child and every parent by name.
A Northville Tradition Since 1991
Sunny Pointe opened its doors in the fall of 1991. Since then, generations of Northville, Novi, Plymouth and Livonia families have started their children’s learning journey with us.
Teachers Who Stay
Some of our teachers have been with Sunny Pointe for more than 20 years, and Ms. Shelley has led our Pre-K room for 14. Our turnover is almost zero, and many of our teachers have cared for siblings and even the children of former students. When your child sees the same caring faces year after year, they feel safe, and feeling safe is where learning starts.

Feels Like Home, Not an Institution
Our smaller setting means calmer rooms, real relationships and a warm, family feel that parents notice the moment they walk in.
We asked our parents about a center lunch program, and they told us they would rather pack lunch themselves. Many families manage allergies and dietary needs, and they want full control of what their child eats. So parents send lunch from home, we provide the snacks, and on many Fridays we offer pizza. Pizza Friday is always optional: we ask parents each time whether they want their child to join in.
Your Child’s Privacy Comes First
Our classrooms have cameras for safety, but no one outside the center can watch them. Parents message us through our app, and we send photos and videos of their own child when they ask.
Japanese-Speaking Caregivers
We have Japanese-speaking caregivers on staff for families who want that connection.
